Trucking and logistics play significant role in industrial development. ‘JSW Port Ltd,’ located at Jaigarh, dist. Ratnagiri, a Konkan coastal region of Western India that is visited by over four hundred trucks every day has transformed the district industrial scenario to a growing economy. In spite of developing a large tiled base for parking hundreds of huge lorries and providing with standard amenities for halting truck operators the company also regularly organizes Road Safety Training and Awareness programmes for them. One such programme was recently arranged in which an educative slide show was presented by ‘Motor Jagat’ and ‘Masurkars’ Academy.’
